The third judge, Burt Clements, had a 113-113 tie. His scoring included a 10-7 opening round because, he admitted later, he did not realize he could give a 10-6 round. If Clements had scored the opening round 10-6, as the other two judges had, Pacquiao would have won by 113-112 on Clements's card and earned a split decision.

"I just screwed up," Clements said. "I feel badly because I dropped the ball, plainly and simply. You can make a lot of arguments that it was a very close fight, but that's immaterial. The fact is, I dropped the ball."

    - Pacquiao Knocked Marquez down 3 times in the 1st round.

Marquez by a point. Though I did score it a draw once, trying to be generous to Manny.

Bull****! You have to take a look closely to the whole fight, OK? The mistake of that judge could not change the truth that JMM beat Pac in the first fight.

I'm a fan of both fighters.

I had it 113-112 Marquez i think. The draw was a perfect outcome.

    JMM by a point

He dominated that fight, the only thing making it close is round1, that was the most one sided of their fights.

the 3rd one was also a wide JMM win, the 2nd was closer but still clear for JMM/

I've watched and scored both fights a good few times and my consensus scores ended up

113-112 Marquez in the first fight
114-113 Pacquiao in the second fight
116-112 Marquez in the third fight

Out of the 36 rounds they've fought I have Marquez winning 22 of them.

So many votes for Pacquiao and yet very few of them will post and explain why they thought he won it. :think

i gave it to marquez. i love pac but juan came back from a horrendous start that would have finished 99% of fighters and fought a masterfull display of boxing with all the heart in the world for the rest of the fight. a true example of what champions are made of.
