After seeing Angulo's KO of Casarez in round 1, and with Kirklands chin, Angulo has a good chance of beating Kirkland in the rematch.
Angulo would win the rematch.....he should have won the first fight but ****ed up by punching himself out to the point where he had nothing left. James merely weathered the storm and took advantage of the mistake Alfredo made. Not to down play the win for James....it was his best win....but he got very lucky in my opinion. i'd be very surprised if James ever even thought about mixing it up with Angulo again.
And Kirkland Knocked down in the 1st round. Angulo will learn from that mistake to not punch himself out.
Yeah but he would still wanna get Kirkland out of there as soon as possible cause **** can get real hectic if Kirkland lands just one time which can change the course of the fight like last time....
:yep......James is fun to watch, but while he's dangerous with his aggression and style....those elements are also a liability in that he's very wild with a chin that is suspect. Angulo learned something from that loss...I'm sure of it.
black fighters never get credit on this site.....jk beat the dog **** out of him and still somehow the underdog smh
Ward, Leonard, Ali, Mosley, Mayweather, etc. have plenty of fans and get plenty of praise on this board. I favored Angulo the first time and he had Kirkland hurt and dropped real early. He might be able to repeat that success and avoid the fatal error. But Kirkland would likely adjust as well.
I don't know both haven't been active enough, and I'd give it to the person who trained the hardest which last time was Kirkland, he came in physicAlly and mentally very prepared and angulo didn't seem as conditioned nor mentally ready for the challenge thinking it was gonna be an easy fight.
I'd have to see another two or three fight by El Perro to gauge any affect from his layoff as well his synergy with Hunter. If Angulo fought and knocked out some contenders like Molina, Clottey, Lara, then I'd give him a decent chance against Kirkland. If he fights Kirkland next, without a tuneup, then I don't think he'd have a chance.
That is true, after Kirkland got embarrassed by Ishida he was just looked at as cannon fodder for Angulo, but Kirkland did dominate Angulo from the first knockdown on to the rest of the fight.
Bull****!!! Stop hating, Kirkland went to Mexico and beat the brakes off Angullo. He had the same chin down there that he got now. Just cause Angullo knocked out a rookie in the first don't mean he can knock out James. Yall talking that bull**** about a glass chin, he hit Kirkland with his best shots and kirkland ate that **** up. Even when he got knocked down, he was right back up and Angullo pounded on him untill his stupid ass got tired and thats all she wrote. Before the fight was over, he was basically begging Kirkland to stop beating his ass. He don't wanna be in the same city with Kirkland and you know what, I don't blame him.:bbb
