Don't think I've ever seen him look this defined. I'm really looking forward to his fight with MacDonald now.

Maybe the delay in the fight has given BJ a chance to get fit for the first time in years?

Whilst I expect Rory is going to overwhelm him, if BJ wins, what does he do then?

I wonder if he would rematch Nick Diaz?

If anyone could do it, BJ can but if he fades, he'll pay. The boxing looked slick vs Diaz then he quickly fades and when BJ fades, he just becomes another contender rather than an elite operator.

I will be quite surprised if BJ can last the distance with Rory. He will look pretty decent in the 1st rd then it will be all downhill from there.

I hate seeing my old fighters lose, so that would be a disappointment.

BJ Penn has fought in his last few fights:
Nick Diaz - Top 5 WW
John Fitch - Long Time #2 WW
Frankie Edgar - Horrible Style Matchup and Top 5 P4P for a while
GSP - Greatest WW Ever, Top 3 P4P Currently and at Time of Fight
Matt Hughes - 2nd Greatest WW Ever

Rory MacDonald last fought Che Mills.

Rory should definitely be the favorite here, and the eye test says he is a top WW for sure. But he has not done **** all to deserve the credit he is given.
BJ looks to be in better shape now then when he fought Diaz, Fitch and GSP so I'm pretty damn intrigued to see what is going to happen here.

Rorys not good enough to get a torch. At least not yet.
