You said gaining weight makes you slower. It doesn't and you clearly don't really no what your are talking about.

Gaining 10 pounds of muscle in the right places will only make Marquez faster and stronger, the only potential draw back will be that the increased mass will affect his stamina.

maybe your butcher has good genetics and low fat levels?

But if your butcher suddenly developed those muscles from chopping meat in the last year and was in his late 30's and was chopping meat from 16..would you have suspicions?

    spot on mate

ill say it once and ill say it again you can naturally gain 10 to 30 pound of muscle naturally (depends on ginetics) with TIME on the right training programme, diet and rest periods

But these guys like pacman, jmm and so on haven't got the TIME and are not in a position to do the right training programme to add the muscle naturally. thats why they need help in speeding the process up

sprinters are built because they tend to have fast twitch fibres but they don't deliberately try to add muscle bulk

Go check out the handspeed and explosiveness of Pacman at the lighter weights:

no its not what im saying,

what i am trying to say is its easy to gain 10lbs of muscle as you said you can do it with a good diet and some gym work for an hour every day, adding muscle and maintaining your level in boxing is quiet hard as you might need to do additional weight work in the gym which is not good, that muscle being built by exercises like shoulder press bench press etc etc is not functional muscle, when taking PED's someone could gain this muscle without even lifting weights, their muscles will respond to the drugs and grow whilst still maintaining your boxing training and not having to substitute it with bodybuilding training twice a week

so this means when the muscle is added its been done in a way that will not affect the fighters performance too much, take testosterone for example, the most important PED out there and it is one of the most anabolic PED's out there, a high dose of test would result in muscle growth without having to lift weights just sticking to your common boxing training, when marquez fought mayweather he was throwing rocks trying to add the muscle and it affected him quite badly come fight night

**** yes I would, but those suspicions would be allayed if he explained that he was reducing bodyfat and increasing muscle mass in an attempt to make his current bodyweight absolutely perfect in his eyes, and that this involved eating perfectly and training five hours a day six days a week. I would go "oh yeah, right, well, that's cool" and felt a bit unmanned and bought venison stu to feel more manly and leave.

He doesn't have low fat levels btw, he's a big fat dude, but he's just got giant arms.
