I dont know too much about Joyce. He won the ABAs last year, beating Frazer Clarke in a great final.
Joyce won gold & the best boxer award at the prestigious Tammer tournament in October & so he's in good form but the Italian does look like a monster, its going to be a tough fight.

Really looking forward to tonights match, every fight looks good.

2 divisions of 6 teams so there's 10 matches for each team, 5 home & 5 away. 5 weight divisions & all bouts are 5x3min with small gloves, no headgear or vests.

Each team has a squad of about 20, fighters cannot fight more than once every 13 days so this weeks teams is entirely different to last weeks, which beat USA 4-1.

After the group phase the top teams from the 2 divisions compete in 1/4, semis & finals.

so its a new format for amateurs, except with smaller gloves and no head guards? ie the losses dont count against their pro record?

How can that heavyweight fight amateur its a joke, 12 pro fights is a **** take.

Pricey has only had 14, he could still fight in this.

Britian may very well win the whole tournament. They thrashed the USA team last week and should do the same to Italy tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up 5-0.

looking forward to seeing Joe "The Bellew Basher" Ward tonight. Nevin already beat his opponent in the WSB last year, although it was a tough fight. All in all very strong team the lionhearts have out, ****ing stupid that pro-boxers are allowed in this.

What the rules with Pros only a certain amount of fights or how high they are ranked in the Pros? Rigondeaux has 11 fights.
