Well if hes fighting someone from the UK, you'll probably get everyone cheering for Ward in Ireland!

kessler and froch fought ward in the states, so he should fight them both in denmark and the UK.

    forget this neutral rubbish.

lets see what ward is made of when he has to deal with a ref who knows the rules.

I can safely say this fight won't happen in Ireland.
I can also safely say that if it were somehow to happen, that it truely would be a neutral fight. The only 1% chance of this happening in Ireland would be if Lee V Macklin were to be the co host event. But trust me, the Irish boxing fans would definitely be neutral. Ward could certainly use it to his advantage that he has an Irish name and Froch could say he trained in Ireland for his Pascal fight. The truth is, and you can verify this of the guys on the irish thread, both fighters would be welcomed warmly.

How would Froch have a hometown advantage?

It would probably do more at the gate than the last Ward fight.

I guess the argument they're trying to make is its so close for Froch and his fans, like a few 100 miles, whereas its about 7000 miles for Ward.

It would be like an upstate NY'er telling a British guy to come fight in "neutral" Montreal.

That's true. Froch would once more have to climb into the lion's den.

I think the point he was making is that it would be a hometown fight for "Irish" Andre Ward, but not too far for Froch and his fans.

    Edit: sorry, misread your post.

Would it really be neutral 100 miles away from Froch's homeland? It's just that Andre might have a few "natural" fans there to feel he had a little support.
