I find it curious how many people say Byrd is the 2nd best fighter Vitali has ever fought. Judging by record that may be correct but h2h Byrd isn't a great opponent, not even by Vitali's standards.

Adamek and Peter were at least as 'good' (or average) as a 2000 Byrd was.

Vitali was a top 10 fighter all time in my view. I mean my god the man never even got knocked down. And he gave LL hell on short notice. And I don't think Lewis was that far over the hill being he was coming off a ass whipping to Tyson. Whay Lewis was 37 in that fight?? He was not that old. Wlad on the other hand is not a top 10 all time. He has been down and koed by to many tomato cans. And he has been taking easy fights.

Faerun, Jack, and Michiganmoron should be locked into the same room, and it should be set on fire and burned to the ground.

They are just pathetic racist moronic scum.

At least the tie matches the eye.

    Vitali is a true ATG.

    I like the suit too.

I love Vitali but the record is not there. Right now, he sits in the second tier with guys like Ken Norton, Floyd Patterson, Joe Walcot, Max Schmeling...good company but not with Ali, Lewis, Holyfield, etc.

He should fight Haye, beg little brother to give him Povetikin, and then go from there. He has said that if he wants to continue boxing, it would not interfere with politcs. So keep going and build, because fighting the Kingpin Johnson's the Sosnowski's, Chisoras and Charrs has not done it.

you act as if ALL other fighters fight "elite" challengers EVERY fight but Vitali.... and to say "I am not interested in which TOP 10 guys vitali has fought" shows your hate and how stupid your statement is.

so if Vitali fights Haye... is that an "elite" HW fight?

Yep, all eyes will be on the Heavyweight division. Unless he wants to rematch Charr.

When I say "elite", I'm talking about how good the fighter is in a timeless sense, not right now. If he fought Haye, it'd be a great fight by todays standards but I don't think Haye is an elite heavyweight.
