I have a strange feeling about tonight..

Hatton = lost too much weight, utterly destroyed in last fight, older, slower, 3 year lay off

70 lbs is absolutely a MASSIVE amount of weight to lose...it is just unhealthy..

I know he is opponent is hand picked and all that but as long as he isnt taking a dive then dont be surprised...Hatton has fallen a lot further than people think

Hatton to KO'ed...not on strength of opponent but purely onhow far he has really fallen

My gawd I hope you're wrong but sadly I wouldn't be surprised if that happens...I'm just hoping somehow he's returned to his old form and will be competitive...

I watched that "Road to Redemption" documentary. Hatton looks gaunt and slow, I think taking off the weight, the partying, and the layoff will have an effect.

Hatton of old runs through this guy, this Hatton I'm not so sure. Hatton should have taken a tuneup with a journeymen at welterweight. I'm thinking a bottom 50 type guy, just to shake some ring rust and see how he feels fighting.

Oh and Hatton's confidence might be shot to pieces too. That could be a factor.

Not say anything negative about Ricky Hatton as a person or fighter...just expressing an opinion that he will get beaten tonight for the reasons listed

Yeah I'm just trying to deal in reality. I hope Hatton wins.

It seems like Hatton only cares about boxing. It is sad TBH. Hatton has money, fame, and a hot wife yet he is a miserable guy. I think you see this with a lot of fighters and sadly it is the tragic ones (Chico, for example, when he was done with boxing after losing to Clottey basically killed himself on a motorcycle).

He needed to take a full year to lose the 70lbs of blubber, ripping that much off in a few months is extremely stupid and unhealthy.

The worrying thing though is in that documentary Ricky mentioned that he got knocked out by a LWW 12 days before his last fight back in 09. He also said he overtrained which Floyd Snr. agree's with as Ricky would train during the evenings with a long time Brit trainer... can't remember his name.

    Let's hope for the best.

I agree, however Senchenko is currently a top 5 p4p fighter. Ricky should be ashamed of being beaten by this Euro-level superstar. Ricky should have taken an easier fight against a domestic-level fighter such as Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander, Adrien Broner, or Demetrius Andrade. Such fights are winnable for a fighter of Hatton's talent.
