Thx for posting this, really enjoyed the documentary, Hatton looks to be happy these days, good to see. Wish him all the best in the fight
Hatton could get beaten tonight for all of those reasons - but he could also be the rare exception where the extended layoff did him well. Perhaps he will return to the ring stronger than ever. If he can get on the inside and work the body then he can win. Tonight will tell the tale! I can't wait. I'm glad he's making another go of it. Come on, Ricky!
I agree it was not easy for Hatton to come back.. The problem with your idea.. is that Shevsenko is not very good. So a Hatton at 50% should still win.
i know what you mean about Shevsenko...but i think Hatton really has fallen that far...Mallignaggi had probably the best fight of his life when he beat Shevsenko (what a pain in the ass typing those names!!)
Ricky should win this one but it might be a battle. It might be a close split decision type win. This guy can bang so it might be a really tough test if Hatton has gone that far downhill.
I hope and pray Hatton's comeback doesn't end a disaster. I feel he could be mentally unable to cope and return to suicidal tendencies. I have noticed some very negative statements coming from his trainer "If Ricky loses, at least he can say I did everything right this time" and "If he did anything wrong, I think he left his comeback too long". Never a good sign to hear things like that IMO, but I'm rooting for him :happy
