Had to laugh at your prime vittles comment. Vitali was green and lewis was a seasoned world champ. Ur funny.

I really just wanted to state that Vitali is going to retire on top without any controversy like Tko 6. Lets look at the facts:

1) vitali has a better record than lewis
2) vitali has never been knocked down let alone knocked out cold by a couple of bums.
3) apart from controversial stoppages vitali has never truly been beat. He was up 4-2 against lewis on all scorecards (public and judges) and was way ahead of byrd before the controversial stoppages.
4) vitali has completely dominated his competition rarely losing rounds unlike lewis
5) vitali (not 100% sure if he has already surpassed lewis on title defenses) will end up with more title defenses and retire on top having beat all young challengers convincingly without any Controversy.
6) Fought into his 40's not using age as an excuse to run and hide from a challenge.
7) Has a much higher ko % and one of the all time best chins, power, and accuracy exhibited by his dominance over the opposition. stats dont lie.

The spinning heel kick was "just" a "knockdown", Vitali underestimated his opponent ( Vitali's fault) catched the kick, got knocked down, ref directly waved it off.
That was Vitali being stupid, but it doesn't hurt his prof boxing career as it isn't prof boxing.

Against Maskaev Vitali was fighting with an injured right hand, and his corner threw the towel because Maskaev forced him to use that injured hand.

Vitali shouldn't have fought, or have been a better one handed fighter

Vitali still lost his most important fight as a prof, though he was a big underdog, and did pretty ok for an underdog.
Though just doing "ok" isn't enough to beat Lewis.

And Vitali cuts were grotesque against Lewis. It would had been real controversial had it not been stopped, and to this day Im amazed the ref and doctor let it go on for so long.
