Not a huge fan of Bute but loving his attitude. Losing a fight in that way must be tough he must have demons to exercise. I hope he puts in a great performance it's going to be tough.

Well this is boxing, it's not a rare thing for a guy to lose his first fight and come back stronger. Guys like Tszyu & Lewis came back from knockouts to clear up their weight division and become undisputed, so you never know in this game.

Froch would of layed Grachev out within 6 rounds.

    Bute's pride is admirable.

Bute will lose again and the loss will probably end his career,I admire his bravery but he's crazy for taking this fight again..

But doesn't make you wonder... what if there is real substance behind that extreme confidence ?

Props to Bute on his resolve.

I dont think its going to be enough to upset the apple-cart.

Lucy Ann is going to smash her entire purse into 'Froch to win by T/KO within 6'.

    Clever stuff.

    That is a warrior's attitude...

    Obviously Bute is proud man.

fairplay to bute but in reality what else is he expected to say?

not like he is going to tell us that he would rather not fight froch in a re-match clause that he and his team went to great lengths to ensure.

problem for them is that i don't think they envisaged invoking the clause unless they were robbed or in a very close fight.

    He could have said
    " I need another tune-up "
" I was draining myself to make 168 Froch should fight me at LHW "
    " I want Kessler "
" Stevenson kept asking for me, well he got me now "

    And so much more.

Being robbed or very close fight was for the 2 fights deal done if Showtime was on board. This was a 1 fight deal with a rematch clause only for Bute in the eventuality he'll lose his belt, thing that has happened. They were probably thinking of a robbery not a beat-down, but now seems it works for both.

I see what you mean but the bottom line is i think bute is a warrior whom knows full well that it wouldn't be received very well if he made an excuse. good on him:thumbsup

Surely he will retire or go part time after getting knocked out in Montreal.

Has he mysteriously grown an iron chin and some stamina?

Remember folks, he was utterly confident going into Nottingham, and got squashed like a bug, this will be the same thing all over again.
