How do you rate him as a puncher? How much of a threat does he pose to Ward compared to other 168lbers?

    Yep
Lets be real, that was Pavlik at his best.
Then after the Hopkins loss he seemed to on the way down and it looks like post Martinez life just took too much out of him.
He must be more active and work really hard on his craft if he wants to be what he used to be.

Three to fours years past his best, gets harshly judged though.

Damn people really hate pavlik on this forum. He could keep playing it safe with careful match making picking up pay checks but he signed to fight the best super middle in the world

I think he's past his prime....He's still a top fighter in his division but he's a little past it.

    It's incredible, really.

We are talking about a figher that is 40-2 with an 80% KO rate.

Yeah he is. Just like Jermaine Taylor and Bernard Hopkins are as well.

Hopkins in terms of boxing mind and ability to execute a rational plan in a fight i would say he still is. Taylor and Pavlik look like shadows of their former selves despite being young men.

If he was only about the money he wouldnt have signed the for the ward fight like these people think. That one paycheck wouldnt top three careful fights. Hes stepping up an taking on the best in the division an arguably the best p4p in the world. Kelly has always had balls.
