First off let me clarify that years later I'm still bitter about what happened to the Great Kostya that night in England

At age 35 he fought Hatton at his absolute peak with Hattons uncle lettering every foul slide including that terrible intentional low blow that Hatton should have been shot for. Kostya still held his own.

Let me remind that Tszyu was older back then, then Ricky is now. And there are morons claiming Hatton would be Kostya in his prime.

At this age Hatton can't even beat a club fighter who failed to beat malignaggi.

So Hatton against prime Kostya would lOol quite different

Hell 43 year old Kostya would brutalize 34 year old Hatton

Actually, I was only half-kidding when I said I'd kind of like to see Hatton vs. Tszyu II now... :worm

50 year old Tszyu could knock Mitchell out with one hand tied behind his back.
He didn't need to be in his prime.

And yes I would LOVE to see Hatton vs. Tszyu II

Tszyu had an off night. Prime Hatton would have gotten shat on by Bradley, Matthysse, Garcia. Prime Hatton was not that good. Nothing on his resume points to him being that great. He caught Tszyu on an off night at 2 am, there are no other key wins on his resume.

did someone really say Hatton would've beat a prime Tszyu?:lol:

Not in the same class. Hatton has everything set up in his favour that night, and still it was very close at the point Tszyu quit. The fouling Hatton got away with was a disgrace. He got dropped by a good body-shot and Parris bent down to ask Hatton is it was low, Hatton got to choose . Absolutely ridiculous.

Come on man, alot of Brits did...

I am glad Tszyu did show his class in defeat and was pretty gracious. That fight and the result was tough piece for us Kostya fans do digest..

After he took a flush uppercut to the balls and Parris practically patted Hatton on the back and said "nice one mate."

What's all this **** about 'prime Tszyu':lol::patsch without doubt the single most overrated boxer in the last 15 years, any version of Tszue gets battered and stopped by 'prime' Hatton.
