Minor payday? Do you seriously believe he wouldn't be getting paid good money from Sturm to go to Germany so Sturm can fight him for his mandatory shot at the Geale-Mundine winner? Ty is wrong I think he would be getting good money.

How much do you think he is getting paid then? he didnt really defeat anyone of importance to earn his spot, it was given to him by Ray Wheatly, plus the guy is damaged goods.

While what you say is true he is still the mandatory to fight the winner of Geale-Mundine. I think Sturm would be paying Sam good money to get that mandatory spot for another World title shot. Don't think Sturm is to keen to go after his old WBA belt against Golovkin. No idea how much but it would be but alot more than 30-40k IMO.

Getting between 250-300k. Why would he pass that up? Sams been denied too many times, he may be no1 but that doesn't guarantee a shot these days

    Hey ****wit,

Probably nobody here would know exactly what Sam Soliman will earn to fight Felix Sturm :-(

Fox Sports refer to the amount Soliman will receive as 'lucrative'. Which means he's in for a very nice payday, and Soliman's manager David Stanley confirmed it would be "one of the most lucrative purses of Soliman's career".

All that matters is that it's enough for Soliman to be happy to fight Sturm, and plainly it is because he's accepted the fight :yep

that really means jack sht... most lucrative could be 40k, there is no way on earth he is getting 200-300k for a non title fight.

I read that Zbik hasn't been paid yet for his fight with Sturm.. Universum went bust according to fightnews.com

Nobody here knows the actual amount Sam will be paid to fight Sturm. But if Soliman's manager says it will "one of the most lucrative purses of Soliman's career" and they've accepted the fight, good luck to them.

And just a note...Sammy fought Winky for a very handy pay day and that wasnt for a title.
