What a disappointment. Biggest waste of talent ever. He matured way too late. Pre-injury, he had the best jab I had ever seen.

He had a good jab thats for sure, but I don't know about the best ever. and yeah, definitely a huge waste of talent.

Ken Norton was the best heavyweight to never "win" a world title.

Golota was a good HW. Great to watch, he had the whole package.

i would agree, golota had an exeptional jab and was indeed a waste of talent.

i also feel bowe was a waste of talent, undedicated outside of the ring and got brain damage very early. also the version of bowe golota beat was a fat, unfit, unmotivated bowe, and the second a shot to pieces bowe

Bowe was unlucky the second time he came in motivated that Golota was still a wonderful fighter, he got his brain and extra ballsack damage in that fight.
Round 2 and 5 were the best.

Sam Langford, Ernie Shavers, Jimmy Bivins, Roland LaStarza were all better than Golota imo.

Even guys like Ron Lyle and Zora Folley were probably better as well.

What was this Golota injury that so hampered him then?

No he wasn't. There were fighters who had a lot and never won a Championship like Razor Ruddock, Ike Ibeabushi, David Tua, Carl Williams, Tyrell Biggs, Luan Krasniqi and others.
