    all i have 2 say is hbo and its comentators did there best to overhype
    and try to save the horrible fight that was taking place as a main event.
    HBO knows that there wont be another main event
    with guerrero boring ass in it,thats 100%.

    guerrero in the 1st 2 rounds with the 2 knockdowns was aight,
    even tho he held berto behind the head for 3 blows that cause the knockdown and bias ref didnt say anything,..but i will atleast give him those 2 rounds of excitement i guess,..but the next 10 rounds were the most dreadfull and boring fight i have ever seen.
    and i have a 2TB external hard drive filled with just boxing,,and i have dam near every boxer career sets.


    the ref was the worst and most bias i have ever witnessed.
    **** fired as in loosing his job,..he should be fired upon by a firing squad.
    he didnt warn guerrero not once for the crazy holding he was doing

    fans wanna see a fight,,a boxing match
    not no ****ing hugging fest,wrestling match,..
    thats **** was worse then the man loving ufc fights holding each other.
    i bet u dana white was very happy somewhere.

    and seeing people saying that this fight was an instant classic
    and wanting to see it again are ****ing crazy and delusional.

    now if your a guerrero fan,then i FULLY UNDERSTAND.
    but if you are a boxing fan ,it was embarassing.

    i dont know what was worse molina holding kirkland
    or guerrero holding berto.

    on a final note,..
    i have no idea wat was berto thinking,,..
    1.) fighting a fighter from cali
    2.) in cali
    3.) judges from cali
    4.) and a ref from cali

    LAST BUT NOT LEAST...
    I GUARANTEE YOU MY LIFE!!
    that mayweather wont fight guerrero after that horrific performance.
    BESIDE MAYWEATHER HATERS,.....WHO WOULD WANNA PAY FOR THAT??

    mayweather vs bradley ,..or canelo or rematch cotto,,or even kieth thurman is a way better fight then a guy thats gonna hold u for 12 rounds.

    honestly i cant even see guerrero getting any1 to fight him after that
    its gonna be the carlos molina effect,,who the **** is gonna wanna go
    into a boxing ring and hold,rub and wrestle each other???
    oh ****!,..there it is,..carlos molina vs robert guerrero on WWF!

    there was so much controversy going on. the ref refusing to do his job. lou moret is a damn good ref. he just refused to do his job last nite. im thinking foul play happened here. ive never seen lou let so many fouls go and just do nothing about it. he usually does something when there is fouls going on. other than that, it was an entertaining fight. im thinking berto had a chance to win if lou did his job. guerrero was using his head as a battling ram. he was holding and punching at the same time. in more than 1 occasion i saw him use his elbow as a weapon. berto too was fouling esp in the beginning with his elbow. but, guerrero is the dirtiest fighter i have ever seen. this is boxing not a street fight

    Good thread OP, although I have to agree at times it was boring but there was a lot of excitement that came with the match. You have to give it up to Berto for not saving the white flag, hanging in there and giving as much heart he can with what limited skill set he has.

    Props to Guerrero for the win. I just hope all his performances don't carry on like this at welterweight and he mixes it up a little.

    He probably has, as no one wants to remember what a Ruiz prime was like.

    Also just because someone else does something else worse, does t immediately give everyone else a pass.

    I forgot about the head. Robert used it a number of times as well. Can't believe what I was seeing.
