Just seen on twitter, Mitchell was asked whether he was going to use the rematch clause in his contract with banks and he replied saying 'yes'. Does anybody see the 2nd fight going differently? where could Mitchell go if banks wins again?

    Not a bad idea, honestly.

Of course, if he doesn't make the necessary tweaks (and assuming that Banks' performance wasn't just a one-off fueled by his grief and desire to "do it for Manny") and it winds up a repeat...he's toast. Two consecutive L's, hype bubble burst...that would be difficult to return from.

    Bold move.

It will be worth it, however, if he avenges the loss. Especially if he kayos Banks. Then taking a presumptive rubbermatch to really drive home the point that it was a fluke the first time; that could launch him right back on his way to about where he was before if not higher.

It's 50/50 only because it takes one punch in the heavies. Banks isn't really world class. If Mitchell doesn't win, he can kiss any big pay days goodbye.

Kind of the same situation Proksa was in after Hope derailed him.

"You have to get revenge, or your ride is over".

Of course, even if Mitchell gets back on track it's very likely that another HW is lurking out there to give him a taste of what Proksa's redemption ultimately earned him. :yep Fury or Jennings or Boytsov or someone could play the Golovkin role.

Seth really needs to work on his defense and footwork

he should also stop throwing those wide as **** windmills/hooks, because he's very vulnerable to counter-punches, and his chin isn't great

It's the best thing he can do. Rebuilding process is too long otherwise

    And he CAN beat Banks

Well, if he does it'll be sink or swim for him. He's finished if he loses to Banks again

he could win, he had banks hurt a few times...or at least got his attention... would i put money on him to win the rematch? nope, i'll take Banks again, if he caught him once, he can catch him again, much faster fighter

Good move, I think. He can beat Banks in a rematch. Also, it makes sense in that Banks really isn't aiming for a title shot, unless it's against Povetkin, who has to fight Wladimir this spring or be stripped. Therefore, Banks-Povetkin is very unlikely.

He is going down again, even if he wins this one he is still gonna get knocked out within the next 1 or 2 fights.

Brave decision if he follows through, I would become a fan if he beat Banks.
