    You haven't seen many fights have you? And the ref should have probably done something but I'm happy if refs don't always break up clinches, most boxers don't know anymore how to fight on the inside and do the Berto or Wlad style of punch-clinch-waiting until the ref breaks the clinch-repeat

    trust me when i say i have watched tenfold the amount of fights that u,and most people have.

    But i think thats why i think this was 1 of the worse.
    I think i have spoiled myself watching great fights over and over thru the years,..
    Then this bull**** comes on and people saying it was foty canidate and amazing and it was horrific.

    good post. i had to try hard to stay awake during this fight. i am well aware of bertos style . i know how he likes to fight. it was guerrero that stunk up the fight to win.

    It was an ok fight, certainly not a FOTY candidate in my book.

    FOTY is something like Angulo-Kirkland, with some real back and forth action. This fight didn't have a lot of that. For the most part, Berto got his butt kicked round after round.

    The most surprising part of the whole fight, for me, was that a legitimate welterweight, and a guy proven to be a PED user, was getting muscled by a blown-up lightweight. I didn't expect that.
