Exactly. He went chasing the fight once he heard Ryder was needing a replacement. If only more of our lads had the same attitude...

Checking boxrec for the belfast lads opponents for tomorrow and i saw that Paddy Mc Donagh is boxing Tony Dobson friday in liverpool,
    Anyone hear about this?
Big step up for Paddy although Dobson is far from the fighter he was,
A win here would be a great scalp for the young man.

Gallagher's fight is around the 1 hr 33 min mark for anyone just wanting to watch that. Impressive display from him, simply blew Patterson away.

Think the media in our country is absolute **** coming up to Patrtick Hylands fight.
Not a thing on RTE, feck all in the papers, But i know our own online reporters for Boxing ireland, Irish boxing Etc..... have been doing bits here and there, but ive read interviews with a few different people but not 1 person has asked Paddy Hyland Snr his views coming up to the fight,
I think he would have alot more insight than alot of people with Pajo seen he trained him since he was barely out of nappies and is in constant contact with Tracy Patterson and the training camp pver in the u.s
I sure hope Pajo wins even more now and get to defend the title over and im sure people will be writing loads of stuff then looking for media passes.

    RANT OVER:?:?
