http://news.boxrec.com/news/2012/leon-williams-awful-against-latvian-arturs-kulikauskis Got to be a candidate for worst British champion ever. Gets a dreadful robbery win over Norton, sparked out in round 1 by Conquest and then an 80-72 loss to a Latvian, I've seen Eastern European imports get narrow points wins and the occasional KO win over here but I don't think I've ever seen one produce a shutout over that distance. Really really poor from Williams.
That's terrible Getting sparked out in one happens. Fighters get caught cold. Whatever. But getting dominated by a poor Latvian journeyman is truly the pits.
That's VERY unlikely based on pretty much everything I've seen from him. Even at his best he's never looked like anything more than an area level fighter. His chin is atrocious and his Lonsdale win was the luckiest in the belt's history.
To be fair to the journeyman that beat williams, he has a draw against dimitri sartison on his record.
