I think you've misinterpreted what I said, he didn't directly take in testosterone but the steroids he did use cause increased testosterone levels in the body. "androstene /an·dro·stene/ (an´dro-stēn) a cyclic hydrocarbon, C19H30, This content is protected This content is protected and certain other androgens." If you don't understand the science, it means that Andro will enable his body to build testosterone within the body due to giving it the core, key component which is the drug you've mentioned

Thank you for finding the source KO artist, I was having a bit of trouble myself but I knew I'd read it somewhere. I raise my glass to you
He dont give a **** what sort of love poems you write for him either. He'd probably have more respect for somebody like me , than a poindexter lke you!
Yes, but he was not positive for testosterone ie. not over the legal limit. Only for andro so as I see it, your claim of Jones testing positive with 6x the limit of testosterone is false.
If he has 5 or 6 times the level of androstene the substance that is the key component for testosterone, I believed he would have had around the same amount of testosterone in his body. However after a bit more research I've found that the conversion rate isn't 100% per molecule of androstene to testosterone but it is still very high. So perhaps you are right "Androstenedione is further converted to testosterone. Conversion of androstenedione to testosterone requires the enzyme 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase" So if he had Andro in his body then he's gonna have increased levels of testosterone. Stop being so hard-headed and allow some lateral thinking where we can see that if he has 5-6 times the legal level for andro, it's not gonna be far off for testosterone. In case you didn't know enzymes are very effective at what they do so a high volume of andro will be converted to testosterone
I would assume that if they tested for andro, which is a relative non-potent steroid, surely they'd have tested for testosterone which is extremely potent. Bottom line: Jones tested postive for a steroid. That roid was andro. Jones cheated.
It was only a steroid test not a testosterone test and no follow up test was done so all we have is the initial test that can be trusted. This content is protected
BatTheMan - where is the proof that Jones tested positive for Andro? There isn't any, we don't know what anabolic steroids were in his system as he refused to submit to a follow up test
Only a steroid test? What do you mean? They normally test for a bunch of banned steroids and other substances. So I'm thinking he was negative for everything but andro ie. negative for testosterone, clenbuterol etc.
A link was already posted and Jones admitted to have taken a steroid. The link is here again: http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/flashback-when-roy-jones-tested-positive/#ixzz1qVN58fxU
KO artist is right, Jones was caught on steroids but we don't know which ones. But since all Roy's camp offered were ripped fuel and nasal spray we know that what they say i.e. the andro excuse can't be trusted
