Jacob Hall: Both of them did. Roy Jones tested positive for steroids. He was five or six times over an acceptable level He never says andro, which was offered up by Roy's camp which we know we can't trust. Did you not read the wuotes I gave you, steroids are converted to testosterone in the body so they do not test his testosterone levels specifically but if you used lateral thinking we can link the two things as he tested for 5-6 times the acceptable level for steroids.
I go off actions and nothing was done about it, if he was that roided up something would have happened sooner or later. He was tested hundreds of times during his career. Haters just use it too bash him with to make them feel better about themselves.
Oh that's right. I think I stand corrected. I was under the impression that the positive test was for andro, but the positive appears to be for 'anabolic steroid'. That means the roid was never specified. Jones saying it was andro might not be true. It could have been anything. Him saying it was andro makes sense since that steroid is not very potent yet still banned. So it COULD have been testosterone or some other drug. Anyway the letter with the positive test is here: This content is protected
They use it as a blanket to shield themselves from the fact Joe would of been obliterated by Roy if he fought him in his prime. They need therapy over it. Notice how they spend zero time lambasting Proven roid users. They're an embarrassment from an outside perspective , but fail to realise it.
Sure man. You can believe that he only roided for a fight against the dangerous ATG and soon-to-be HOF'er Richard 'Phucking' Hall and not against no-hopers like Toney, Ruiz, Hill etc. I know what I think is most reasonable.
He never tested positive for any of them fights so he's not guilty of it. I'd say that same about any other fighter. Hate all you like. I don't see any statements accusing him off it from Ruiz, Hill, Hopkins or any other fighter he fought besides Hall.
There's substances out there that Ali, Leonard or any other ATG you can think off will of been taken which will be illegal now. Athletes are tested thoroughly.
Not really. There's not one ex fighter or major commentator that ever brought the subject up, neither then or now. Not think that strange when the guy was P4P 1 for many years? The only people who've brought it up are the ones sat behind their computer screens unhappy with their life.
Here's one. ''Roy Jones is a great fighterone of the greatest fighters ever, but like I said, when I found out he failed the steroid test I just lost a lot of respect for him because I just thought he was on steroids when he beat me so thats the only way I can look at it. - Montell Griffin
Here's another; Froch was left shattered when Jones’ career ended in shame as a drugs cheat. The Brit said: “I was very, very annoyed. I put him on a pedestal. Unbeaten, a super-middleweight moving up to heavyweight and winning world titles. “Pound of pound the best at the time, no one could hit him, he could punch, he could box, he could do everything and usually did in the ring. “He hardly ever lost a round and then to find out he was cheating on drugs was quite devastating because I was a massive fan. “You look back and you think was he that good or was he given an extra boost by something else? “Were drugs giving him thee edge on his way to the top? Was it giving him the edge in hand speed, was it meaning he could go 12 rounds easy? “Some of his fights were close late on. The guys he was fighting were looking tired and he was still looking sharp — was that down to drugs? “If he was still sharp because he was cheating, then that is unfair because you never know he might have come unstuck in those final two or three rounds.
