Lets face it when you have a novice junior or senior in a AM gym they don't match you against a 2-0 fighter unless your mustard and i seriously doubt Flintoff is keeping any cards close to chest. It's all down to how bad is Dawson? The two wins were at low level which really is what this fight will be at. He seems a serious guy from a interview i saw and with two wins he's experienced life inside the ring and there may be a AM record as well so he may hold more wins then just 2.

I think Ice is spot on, If Dawson puts it on Freddie he's going to bounce around ring in the typical novice position which is the ropes and corner and Dawson will unload and Freddie will get clipped and go over. The first thing you'd ask Flintoff is to stay calm on feet and throw the jab and double it. Don't back up but normally you find big novice fighters either charge out and close range on themselves or they go flying back and can't control range. Let's face it we see guys with years of experience struggle to control range so it's a hard ask for a guy with no fights.

Freddie's jumpy when i saw the clip of his sparring, his punch form seems to of improved thankfully and if he lands he may well hurt this fella but it's a case of getting off first. A typical novice AM fight really if you start well you normally carry it on as you settle first and build.

Also with regards to his weight, His face looks drawn by the weight loss and looks to of lost a lot of weight and not developed anything else.

i find it hard to root for anyone who thinks he can just use a hard and dangerous sport like boxing, just to raise his own profile and gain publicity.
which i have no doubt, thats the main reason he's doing it for.
