    DONAIRE

The poll being this close just goes to further discredit this website...

Donaire, assuming a win over Arce

Garcia and Guerrero are the only viable alternatives. I would give an edge to Guerrero. One win over Berto is better than two over the shell of Morales.

Will Robert Guerrero get any support in this thread??
    (I made this poll before Broner/DeMarco & Berto/Guerrero)

Donaire for me. My initial thought was Viloria until I seen that the Segura win was in 2011. Donaire stepped up a weight class, fought 4 times, unified the IBF and WBO belts and won the Ring title against a guy who was recognised as the no. 1 at the weight, not to mention he should also have picked up the WBC belt if it wasn't for the ****ed up politics in boxing. I'd love to see him take on Mares and Rigondeaux next next year.

Dawson isn't a hypejob but at 168 he was a drained, glass jawed zombie with no SMW pedigree. Ward was much more deserving in 2011 after the S6. The guy who said beating Dawson was the win of the year don't be stupid.

    Martinez for me

Thankfully donaire is leading, albeit by a slight margin, in this poll. I'd have Martinez second and Garcia third.

Vasquez Jr, Mathebula, Nishioka and soon to be Arce, it's got to be Donaire.

Not much has changed. Donaire still leading it easily, and will have stamped his name on the prize by the end of the year.

Donaire is fighting 4 times in one year as an established P4P fighter. That's crazy in these days. He definitely deserves it if he beats Arce like everyone expects.

    This is true.

Nonito will have fought 5 times in the span of 14 months. All against very capable opponents. Wish more guys had activity levels like that.
