youre comparing an ATG natural 147-154 lber to an ATG natural 135 lber of course Mayweather will most likely lose a UD12, theyre both as talented and good but you have to compare Mayweather to people in his weight class same with Pacquiao, theyre the greatest of this generation and top 40 ATGs but theyre probably not even top 10 welterweights

Floyd refused to fight Paul Williams because Williams was "too big", Hearns is just as big, but much faster and hits a lot harder and better skills.

Floyd would never fight Hearns and would get KO'd if he did.

Is there anyone in the history of 147 who could "outbox" Hearns? SRL & Benitez couldnt do it and they were as slick as they come. That range and speed would trouble anyone.

Floyd down on cards big going into final rounds gets desperate to keep his 0 so opens up and gets nailed by the hitman. Hearns KO in round 11.

Imagine if Duran would have had the power of Hearns and the chin of Hagler.

Most skilled fighter ever, best chinned guy around and p4p the most powerful except for maybe a few.

He didn't need the balls of anybody else, that's for sure. Just didn't cut anywhere near the same figure physically or possess even half the same level of speed and reflexes once he went beyond 147 lbs. Not to take anything from Hearns brilliant KO, but he was a far cry from this guy, slipping a countless number of Leonard's blazing punches.

I voted Hearns by KO, but it would probably more likely be "Floyd ducks Hearns".

There's a fair chance even Robinson wouldn't be interested in dealing with him had he existed in his era, unless Hearns was standing directly in his way for what he needed to do. Charley Burley and Cocoa Kid weren't, so they didn't fight. Hearns is arguably the most dangerous welterweight task ever.

Hearns outboxed Benitez with one hand for half of their fight -- breaking his right in the middle rounds. Just sayin'. Didn't get back to 100% until the Duran fight, then he broke it again against Hagler in the first round, very early.

Tommy would win this one with his jab and get probably a late round TKO. I think he would calmly outjab him. Sort of like he beat Benitez.
