I've changed my mind. Also voting for Broner.

    - but this doesn't mean I'll be agreeing with Earl again anytime soon! :D

My personal choices would be between Carl Froch and Adrien Broner.
Carl Has responded so well and is looking a different animal in the ring and as for Broner,he's had a exceptional year and is looking like a real star.

On another note,I really hope Burn's vs broner happen's soon :thumbsup

Yeah Carl froch has had a good year.

It's funny how garcia KO's a guy who'd already been ko'd and was coming off a loss, and gets mad props, yet froch demolishes an unbeaten Bute and all we hear is how overhyped Bute was, after hearing beforehand how froch had no hope.

Broner had a great year indeed, he deserves it more than Garcia for sure. I'd still pick Donaire over both, though

And wtf with people naming Ward, punk only fought once in the whole year against a beyond drained corpse who got KO'd in sparring. I'd take even Canelo over Ward

Well, If somebody beat, let's say, a 100% fit Mayweather in spectacular fashion, I think he'd deserve FOTY award for that victory alone.

but FOTY for beating a weight drained corpse like Dawson? GTFO

Whoever elects Broner should be banished.
He weight cheated Escobedo out of a fight and Perez was a coke head collecting a loser check. DeMarco is a decent enough win but Broner's win was practicality predetermined.

Garcia beat active legend Morales who HAD the WBC title in a close competative fight. He then won the WBA title from one of the best 140 pounders in the world when barley a single boxing pundit gave him any hope of a win. After that he silenced more critics with a blowout in a mandatory rematch with Morales.

He was a nobody last year and is now WBC , WBA Ring magazine champion. Its a no brainer.

It was just an opinion, don't banish me

Broner's still had a big year thou mate, but i do agree that Garcia has had a big year. But for me Amir got sucked in by he's old man and fought Garcia's fight(Wrong move) and Morales has been a fading force for awhile now.

In another thread I said Sergio Martinez but I have since been convinced that Nonito Donaire is the fighter of the year. He's been very active, has fought impressive competition and has won three titles.
