is going on as this been done? Can't see it has Thought this was a charity thing. Maybe I was half asleep but it was on the news this morning - he is actually trying to start a boxing career? Barry M is his trainer? At heaveyweight? ? He looked awful Thoughts? Is it a wind up? Anyone know his opponent
is he at HW? ....ko waiting to happen. He does look gaunt though, especially around the cheekbone area, you can tell hes been putting the training in. I think hes just gonna have a few fights, its not like hes gonna get anywhere in the long run http://news.sky.com/story/1018614/freddie-flintoff-admits-boxing-bout-nerves
They'll feed him bums then he'll retire after about 3 fights they ain't gonna spend money on documentaries and **** just for him to get knocked out...
I know that some want him to get destroyed in there, but surely it's good for boxing that this fight put's the sport in the limelight. As long has he has trained hard and does not make a mockery of the boxing, then it's fine by me.
What's he had, at least 5 months training with a world class trainer? He should be fine. ****ing better be anyway, got £100 on the ****.
Turning pro at 35 with no prior boxing experience is surely a bad idea. I'm surprised he got a license.
:deal McGuigan is one ****ing hypecrite, his lurrrrve of the ££££££ opportunity was just to good to pass up:yep
No not a joke, I thought this was at the start but saw the weigh in, I believe this is also on boxnation not 100% tho, a KO waiting to happen, how the hell does he expect to stay fit he was injury prone at cricket and the training of a professional boxer is a lot more work than that of a cricketer.
Guys, its not like hes been thrown in with a Klitschko or even some decent level domentic fighter. The guy hes fighting (according to boxrec) is ranked 728 in the world.
