I was going through an old boxing news mag last night with a picture of up and coming amateurs and at the back fury and price are stood next to each other, they mention price but fury isn't mentioned at all even though he's in the pic.

 

Don't think many of those Yanks would fancy it. Price is brutal and the money isn't going to be great...

Arreola is fighting Bermane Stiverne in a WBC final eliminator in January for a shot at Vitali Klitschko.

Arreola would be an ok fight, but he's really not very good. He lost pretty convincingly to Adamek who is small and ineffective at Heavyweight.

 

Good thread, i remember the american opponent being mentioned in the presser, could be Thompson, Boswell or Grant. A fight with Thompson would be great for Price and if he can get a fight with Chisora too it'll be a good year for Price.

Arreola doesn't have the dimensions to beat Price, I don't think.

The loss to Adamek is particularly damning, considering the Pole was practically out on his feet every time Vitali landed a shot.

That's the very average punching, shoulder bolt thrower Vitali.

If you read the article in the OP you would see their tryin to set up a fight with Chisora after that to win the lonsdale belt outright.

 

I think every British title defence should be a mandatory defence.

Audley Harrison isn't a championship class fighter, and shouldn't have gotten a shot at the title.

Kell Brook's run was probably worse, I could have beaten a couple of his opponents when he was champion.
