Bruno actually has a very high KO percentage, so he could bang, the only 2 guys he beat, who he didnt ko was some Phil Jackson guy and Oliver Mcall (self explanatory) i do feel he is ever so slightly underrated sometimes. He only ever lost to punchers and i think he finished all of his fights on his feet. The only time i remember Bruno off his feet was against Tyson in 89 and that was like for 2 seconds.

In 89' during the staredown with Tyson, it was Tyson who looked away.

Douglas wouldnt have the advantages over Bruno like he did against Tyson.

If Bruno doesnt get Douglas out of there early, i see Bruno tiring later on and Douglas getting a late KO.

This, Bruno gets remembered as a glass jawed bum.
But he isn't a bum, and compared to true glass jaws , he isn't one.

    Agreed,

Tyson, Lewis and Witherspoon hit him with numerous big shots before he folded, and he kept fighting. It wasn't like he got knocked out by a jab from Pierre Ceotzer.

Like Mike Tyson (also Wlad/Lewis) he often gets underrated that you just have to stand up to him and they'll crumble, that's just bull**** and it annoys me.
When a good fighte like Bruno gets downgraded as a "glass jaw" or "mentally weak" without saying it's relative to the very best it just angers me.

And I'll ad that Douglas's losses to Ferguson, Tucker and Mike White, seem to have been errased in the minds of those who act like the Tyson fight was all his career consisted of.

He was extremely good that night but even then he seemed to slip that night when Tyson knocked him down for example, it was 99% his own fault that Tyson could catch him like that.
for the rest of the time he was just some guy who had the talent BUT didn't have the motivation to do anything.

But you can also make the case that "mental strenght" is also part of your talent, then Douglas scores low compared to the ATGs.

(Even me who puts a lot of importance in h2h ability in rankings can't put Douglas high because he was only "elite" for one night)

I go with Douglas, at his bests beat Bruno, maybe by late round KO.

Douglas often faded late in fights, as did Bruno. I think Douglas' jab is a grade higher than Bruno's.

I think Douglas' second best win was the Mike Williams fight. Williams was a up and comer, with I believe only one loss at that time, being I think a split decision to a "on" Tim Witherspoon. Douglas simply destroyed Williams with his jab.
Douglas went to better things and Williams became a crackhead.
