It's worth noting that nobody, prior of after, did that to Saverese.

I dunno...very tough to call. I'll lean towards Mike, but it's very close.

You missed my point. Peter is not on the same level as Holyfield. He is the equivalent of the tune ups Tyson had, if not worse.

How is this close? Lewis rapes Tyson any in any year, at any age, prime for prime. Tyson has ZERO recipe against grab n' hold. Zero.

  7. That particular Tyson was a ****ing killer wild animal and would have erased '95's Lewis in less than 5 rounds. Ask Oliver McCall.

Lewis was top heavy and Mike threw bombs from his legs up. That spells disaster for Lewis.

Tyson wouldn't land jack**** while eating uppercuts and jabs along the way. Whenever he gets within range Lewis goes for his patented grab n' lean, zapping Mike's energy. Within three rounds Tyson is a sitting duck and there's nothing he can do about it.

Prime or not prime makes absolutely no difference, outcome is always the same.

35 year old , unfit Mercer was landing on Lewis and gave him a close competitive fight. 35 year old Mercer is a Micky Mouse version of Prime Mike. Had Mike been there , Lewis would of been out cold. No 2 ways about it.

Tyson would knock this ****** out with even a glancing blow ... that stupid lazy jab is not going to keep Tyson away

That jab and grab style is what most of Mike's opponents tried to employ ... and look how it turned out for them

Anybody stupid enough to believe that Mike wouldn't land a single punch, which is what you're trying to imply, should stop watching boxing

    He out jabbed Lewis too

Tyson also had an excellent jab, when he decided to use it ... Tony Tucker who had a better jab than Lennox Lewis was being out jabbed by Mike Tyson at certain parts of the fight when they fought in 87 ...

The only thing that I can see being problematic for Mike is the uppercut ... Lewis had a hell of an uppercut and wasn't afraid to use it

If Lewis could keep his chin out of harms way then he would stand a good chance. On the other hand if he got tagged he'd be seeing stars for a fortnight.

He did but in an exchange of uppercuts Lewis is coming out the worst of it.
