Just about to say this mate
It's been stated why he has fought Harrison and Skelton
To own the belts outright which is fair enough
He could have vacated and fought Rogan eh?
**** all the haters, Price is doing things slowly but he is doing it well
He will be around for years to come

Coverage in the daily newspapers, sold out the Echo Arena. Great fight to take from Prices point of view.

Maloney has a five fight deal with wazza. skelton, harrison, thompson, chisora and one other it looks like. To be fighting regularly harrison then skelton 6weeks later aint to bad. if it was a 4month gap between skelton and harrison then he deserves slating.

How many more wins until he has the Lonsdale outright? is it 1?

So once that's out the way we should see a step up in class then I would hope.

I'd like to see him in there with Chisora, we'd be able to gauge a lot more from that.

It seems like the plan is to try and fight chisora after the american and then he has the belt

He needs one more win to acquire the Lonsdale outright.

    OK, Fair enough.

Let's hope it's Chisora or at least Thompson next.

I wanna see him really tested see how he does, i'd love this guy to go all the way.

It's almost a guarantee, he's plotted his path in the HW division over the next 18 months and he's made no secret about what his intentions are. The big fights will come, I'd call for patience but to be honest he fights so often you wont even need to be that patient really, just give him the benefit of the doubt. He's clearing out the domestic scene (and doing so with genuine ease) before moving onto the money fights with the Klits and Fury.

TBH he said if there was a better challenge then Skelton he'd be happy to let go and move on.

Oh and then 10 mins later announced he was facing Skelton...

The Harrison fight was to boost his profile, the same way David Haye used I'm before fighting Wlad, like it or not, Harrison is still one of the most well known boxers in Britain and comes with an interest from the general public. Skelton was a different style wasn't he, albeit not a hard test, he was meant to be durable
