Once a professional golfer (and overaged for boxing) destroyed a Ukranian prospect. The latter still became a successful champion.

Freddie Flitoff great athlete great fighter

Now you have to consider having no experiance he did he really good job beating some over-hyped American prospect. He can continue to improve

I was just trying to get a rise out of some people. I figured this would be an all Brit thread.

See, this guy fell right into the sar-chasm. It's too easy.

BTW, nobody is calling KP a credible opponent. Even Ward fans (like me) realize this is a cash out fight designed to give Ward more exposure.

Even David Price warned him that he could get seriously hurt having no amatuer or professional fights before but Flintoff won the fight.

Hasn't got it. Won't ever beat any decent opponent in boxing...

    Not a boxer.

Club level 110 pounder kids would school him around the ring.

    Footwork non existant
Punches non existant... Only thew some lame slapping telegraphed right hands and maybe a jab?

It was like throwing a kid into a swimming pool who doesn't know how to swim

Don't understand where the ref came up with the score. I would have given Flintoff the decision anyway though winning 38-37, mainly due to the fact that Dawkins didn't seem interested in fighting or winning. The technique of Flintoff's right hand was awful, I know he's only a novice but it looked like he was throwing it from his elbow, all Dawkins had to do was roll under it and the left hook was there every time. But he didn't:think. Fair dos to Flintoff though, but I wouldn't advise taking any more fights.

Freddie got up from a thunderous knock down in the opening of the 2nd round. Freddie kept his composure and won the fight

From what I saw Freddie did not punch himself in the face, unlike some professionals.
