Trout will have two, make it three advantages before the first bell rings in height, reach, and oh yeah, he’s a slick left-hander. In addition he has excellent movement, something Cotto will look to stop with some “body & fender” work. For the record, Miguel Cotto has a fair jab, good right cross, potent left hook and isn’t afraid to work the body or throw combinations up and down. But in order to shine I think Miguel needs somebody that stands right in front of him. Cotto is "too slow". What I’m trying to say is that Cotto could break down at anytime.

Of course he can... otherwise they could handle it on paper.
Cotto probaly beats him 9/10 though.

he can beat him if he extends the fight and uses his jab and swells up Cotto. If he has it in his mind that he specifically wants to swell up Cotto and cut him he can win this.

Of course he can beat him. Cotto has fought much higher opposition though, so I fully expect Cotto to get the W. Trout has the ability, but if Mayweather can't 'box him to pieces', neither can Trout.

It could happen, I dont know enough about the guy. I really hope Cotto wins though, it would be a shame for him to lose against Trout at this point in his career. Kind of the same with Trout to be fair.

Ill have to disagree with your assesment of Cotto. If Trout goes out thinking what you just posted he will lose BAD.

Yes, Trout has Height, Reach and its semi-slick NOT full blow slick.

    But to answer your question:

Anything could happen in Boxing. Hell, you could get your a5s brutally beatten for 12 rounds and on the last 10 seconds a well placed punch can KTFO the other guy. Its boxing. For example: Martinez vs Chave Jr.

Jr. almost KO'd Martinez after Martinez was stomping on Jr's head for 12 rounds.

    Anything could happend.

    Cotto by stoppage <10rds!

    1. Cotto has beaten WAY slicker fighters.
    2. You say that Miguel has a "fair" jab? Wow, you dont know **** about boxing bro. Cotto has one of the best jabs in boxing and while Trout has a LENGHTLY jab, its not that good. Cotto's jab is quick, piston like powerfull and perfectly timed.

Dont sleep on your comments. We will find out very soon.

    War Cotto!

Jr. did not almost KO Martinez, he stunned him, but Maravilla stood in front of him and toke his shots after the KD.

Call it what you want, that is not the point. Martinez stompped on Chavez head and won. The point was that anything can happen on the ring.

The right combo, the right punch....and wham. Fight is over.
