People live with bullets in them. Obviously there are a lot of factors that go into it. I read one doctor tell of gunshot wound patient with a minor flesh would that thought he was going to die because it hurt so much. He'd seen all the TV thugs hardly flinch when shot so thought his wound must be mortal.

There is an involuntary 'twitch' when the muscles experience a sharp pain that you just can't fake. Body just says "no way". Props that he tried to go on to see if it would subside. He should have taken the full 5 in that case though.

He would have maybe won by sneaky split decision anyway if that didn't happen. It's time to call it a day now Joan.

Do we have specifics on the severity of the break?

    Career-ending?

Acquinity are Guzman's current backers. They're a management/promotional outfit to which his extensive training team all seem to belong in some capacity of employment. :conf

They also have 154lb prospect Domonique Dolton, who used to be a Kronk disciple.

    Im a doubter.

After the fall, while walking it off, he balanced on it twice and limped the other leg. Unless he torqued his L knee or some **** too......i aint buying the injury as legit.:think

The leg injury is beyond legitimate.. The guy broke his tibia right under the knee and needs surgery. I was not some bullhit way of getting out of the fight, at that point Guzman had complete control so why would he do that?? Plus he tried to get back in the fight, but could not stand on that leg and fell again, tried one more time am finally had to call it quits. You try walking on a broken leg, much less fight with it...

Furthermore, Guzman was robbed. Khabib fought dirty the whole fight tripping Guzman, headbutting, elbows, and even through him to the ground which caused his leg to break. Guzman had control of the fight and by round eight had easily won 5 of the first 7 rounds, and was on his way to winning round 8 as he looked fresh and in control with his boxing while Khabib looked disgruntled and frustrated… The referee had plenty of opportunities to deduct points from Khabib, but never did. Also, let us say something about how this warrior Guzman, tried to continue to fight on a broken leg. Somehow some ppl out there are saying that he was soft for not continuing.. He had a broken leg ppl!!! Think about that for a second!!!!

Broken tibia right at the knee anterior fracture. Not career ending. Surgery and about 10 weeks before rehab can begin. Definitely an injury where one cannot walk, and had he continued any further could have caused serious damage including crippling him in that leg. Says he will be back, and given the physical condition he is in I believe it 100% regardless of the ridiculous posts by the haters out there the guy is a warrior... He was clearly the better boxer, too skilled and too fast for the Russian Khabib. Unfortunately his warrior mentality got him into a couple of brawling matches with the lesser opponent that got a bit dangerous with the trading of serious blows. That was khabib's only chance and guzman's need to stand toe to toe and shoe that he is man enough to do it could have cost him.. Having said that, the guy still won 5 of 7 rounds, with Khabib only winning two, so I do not see the score cards being in guzman's favor at all. Nor was the referee that never deducted points from Khabib despite at least 10-15 warnings...

It was the South Florida promotion/drug front which is ran by possibly the most con artist looking man to walk the earth.

He was on his way to winning the fight hands down. He had his range down and started tagging him from the outside. The russian guy is lucky Guzman got injured.
