pisses me off seeing cotto fight this sloppily. he might have this fight by a round, mainly because he's at msg, but he hasn't been convincing at all. trout's fought very well and cotto just doesn't seem like he's taking/taken this fight seriously at all. he better close this out REALLY strong.

Lost my feed. I do think the close rounds are going to go to Cotto. My score probbly won't reflect the official one.

Trout's physicality is just too much for Cotto.

    Round 12

Big lefts to the body by Trout. Cotto backs up and lets Trout tee off while bowing his head and raising his weary arms. Sudden burst of offense by Cotto, hooking and chopping with the right but can't keep it up for long. Trout walks Cotto to the ropes and slaps with the right hook. Left hands behind the hook by Trout. Cotto leans back against the ropes and gets knocked into them by a partially blocked Trout uppercut. Cotto tries to fight his way free to the center of the ring. Big left hook by Cotto. Body shots until Trout muscles him off and ties him up. Straight lefts by Trout. Cotto misses a left hook and leaves it draped around Trout's shoulder, spanking with his right. Hooks traded in the middle of the ring!!! Clinch.

    10-9 Trout

    114-114
