    Size and reach advantage was too much for Cotto as I've said. Great fighter with great resume, but he's just too small at 154, heck he was barely average for 147.

    Mayweather faced a faded version of Cotto, Austin Trout faced a shell. Big difference.

    Trout dominated Cotto over the final stretch. Had it 8-4 Trout. So about the same with Cotto looking better against Mayweather because he could pin him against the ropes something he couldn't do against the younger bigger Trout.

    Cotto got beat convincingly by a blown up Super Featherweight in Mayweather.

    Cotto got beat convincingly by a drained Super Middleweight in Trout.

    The style match up was probably bad for him although I thought it wasn't but as the fight started you can see the ring generalship of Trout . Cotto lost this fight fair can't take nothing from Trout but congratulate himand as far as Cotto especially being a fan of his he gave a bad impression of himself after the fight.

    He beat him more convincingly, to say he beat him WAYYY more convincingly would be an overstatement.

    However you should acknowledge that Floyd was 35 when he fought Cotto. Austin Trout is in his prime.

    Although this thread was made purely to wind up *****s, so yes. Trout > Mayweather :happy:happy:happy

    No. One man was just bigger and stronger.

    Just because Trout beat him better doesn't automatically make Cotto a worser version than he was from his previous fight.

    Remember the uppercut Mayweather landed in the 12th that rocked Cotto. Trout never landed a punch that shook Cotto.
