I think Cotto should keep fighting and drop back down to 147. Some good winnable fights there for him and guys his size.

Cotto checked out mentaly from the top tier a couple of years ago. I think it's time for him to hang them up, it's only going to get worse from here on out.

He looked out gunned in this fight. He has better chances at 147, it just depends if he wants to make weight again because he probably doesn't even have to work hard to make it at 154.

either that or make a superfight with Canelo, that would be a great fight.

Trout was way too big for him. terrible matchup.

..wonder if he's having second thoughts about not taking the offer to fight pacquiao.

Nobody noticed how awkward Cotto was during this fight. He looked like his heart is not in it anymore, even after those middle rounds where he was catching trout nicely.

Trout looked to big and strong for Cotto...

He is going to retire. Don't you see that? He was with his family telling them it's ok.

Cotto looked terrible in this fight. Sluggish and inaccurate.

He did not look as fresh as he did against Mayweather for SURE. Either he trained too much or did not take Trout too seriously.

I give Trout his due respect, but Cotto looked off tonight.

Cotto should go down to 147 and fight Berto or Guerrero. Winnable fights for him.

That was the same Cotto who fought Floyd. Cotto gassed late against floyd also . In fact he's always had questionable stamina. The difference tonight is he was fighting a guy who looked twice his size. He's never been great at fighting southpaws either.

Naw, he wasn't too big, he was too good. Come on now, call it like it is, Cotto just got beat. Trout didn't have an edge in power, just skills.:bbb
