I don't think he did, I think I gave Cotto 3 rounds against Mayweather but the rounds he lost were much more clearer than a lot of the rounds tonight that really could have gone either way.

Expectations of the fighters play a lot in evaluating how well they done for some it seems.

That may be true, but then again Trout is a much bigger guy than Mayweather and is also a southpaw which makes a huge difference considering Cotto is a left handed fighter fighting in the orthodox stance and possessing virtually no right hand. Trout had every advantage except for experience so it wasnt a shock that he won the fight.

Had the same score for both fights. This fight had more close rounds but the rounds he won in the Floyd fight were more clear for Cotto.

    I'd say it's about even.

I had Mayweather winning by 3 rounds. Sorry, but that was a close fight, this was not and you could clearly tell by body language from each fight.

cotto and floyd are almost the same size, neither belong at 154. This would be like trout fighting a top 5 SMW

At the end of the day, everyone is still debating who beat Margarito's leftovers more convincingly.

Not really IB. Those small flurries from Cotto had little affect on Trout and overall wasnt enough to make up for the constant left hands to the body and right hooks coming from Trout. This was an easy fight to score and im sad you missed the fight

Trout landed a beautiful right uppercut in the 11th that buckled Cotto's knees and had him on his bike. Landed a beautiful straight left right hook in the 10th on Cotto coming in that shook him hard as well.

It's not like Cotto blew himself up to get a big fight in a weight division above. He made the decision to campaign at that weight. There was a reason he moved up, he didn't do it for shits and giggles.

That bull**** shouldn't be used to undermine Trout's victory.
