CHEF, could you explain in more detail how Vitali's possible retirement affects Wlad's fight schedule? I am not grasping the connection. Couldn't (shouldn't) Wlad sign for a fight against someone (Povetkin) ASAP so that he can fight 3 times in 2013?

I think we all agree Wlad would be heavily favored against Fury. Nobody is seriously arguing against that.

Thing is Fury looks like a decent challenger to me now. He's in good condition as of recently, has a decent work rate and isn't afraid to mix it up. He talks big and probably brings some good UK TV money to the table.

I don't see a good reason why Wlad wouldn't fight Fury in 2013. Makes good sense from a business and entertainment angle.

It's most likely linked to RTL, as they both just renewed their contract with them. Since Wlad has fought most recently, Vitali should get the 1st TV date if he wants it and has an opponent lined up.

My honest first reaction when I saw this thread was that Chef saw last night Fury putting a masterclass and got worried big time.

So after the fight was over he had to regroup himself and ran to ESB with his sacks swinging to make a thread for attempt to brainwash us all with Klitschko propaganda.:D;)

I'm always wary of saying somethings "100%" certain in boxing because there is no way of knowing to that degree how things will turn out until the fight happens. I mean, most people would have said Rahman had no chance of beating Lewis but he did, everyone thought Tyson would walk through Douglas, Liston was expected to destroy Clay and, more recently, everyone expected Wladimir Klitschko to have an easy night against a Sanders who had been brought out of retirement and had moved on to pro-golf.

So, I have nothing against anyone saying Fury's not good enough to beat Wlad, I have no problem with people saying Wlad would be the clear favorite in any fight between them, but there is no way anyone can say that Wlad would be 100% certain to win.

I don't know wtf Fury was trying to do yesterday, but it certainly looked hilarious. I guess he was thinking he is Ali, or something. Also, it seems quite obvious that guy does not have a punch. He is worse slapper than Calzaghe was. Kudos for being in good condition, though. That was about the only positive for Fury from yesterday's bout. If Kingpin had really tried he could've smashed the clown out of the ring. But they had different kind of agreement, quite obviously.

So yes, he would probably get killed by Wladimir at this stage.

Price will be the man to do it...mark my words.

He has the power, size and skills.

I fancy he will knock out Fury next year.

So who will Wlad fight next, somebody better or worse than Fury? My bet is on somebody who Fury would beat.

Yeah pretty much. 12-0 to Fury. Tyson Fury was more impressive against Chisora and Kevin Johnson than Vitali. Vitali would thow a 1-2 then go into repeat mode all night long the exact same thing. Fury isnt a 1-2 robot. He can throw bodyshots, left hooks, uppercuts, combinations. Fury was throwing vicious body shots, multi punch combinations, he was slipping punches moving his head, he was out jabbing Johnson really bad.

All these idiots here before the fight was sayin how talented Kevin Johnson was and that he was gonna outbox Fury and then stop him. Johnson is not good enough to be a sparring partner for Fury and I dont care how much Johnsons fans don't like that. Johnson is not anywhere near Fury's level. Fury is one of the best Heavyweight prospects that anyone has seen in the last 20 years. Only Klitschkos are a threat to him no one else that is just how it is, no one else is on his level

Price is too easy to hit. Look how Skelton was tagging him. Now remember last time when they met Price tasted the canvass face first even with headgear on. Price went down like a falling tree. Without headgear it is gonna be lights out. He can dish it out but he cant take it. Price use to get Ko'd alot in the amatuers we know that

Fury smashed Chisora. He rocked Chisora serveal times and beat him down. Vitali Klitschko robot boxed him with 1-2s the same thing all fight long.

Does anyone think Fury would put up with Chisoras shite for 2 seconds muchless get slapped or spat on?

Right from the start Fury told Chisora he was ready and would fight him anytime anywhere he wanted

Price will not beat Fury. Im certain of it. I thought he would before but defiantly not now. Hes already higher up the ladder than him and that says a lot.

With Fury and Pulev out there closing in , i dont think ol Vladdy boy is going to happy!
