He's not shot...He was never a great fighter to begin with. He was a B class talent with a rabid national fanbase and a big time promoter.

Every champion meets his match sooner or later, unless they duck and retire when they know it's time.Cotto is no different, and it may be time for him to pack it in.Nothing left to prove, but will money be the factor which finally finishes him off with one last stand on May 2013?Canelo still seems a possibility.Trout is not really a crowd pleaser and can't draw fans.He will end up being a Bradley type champion, good but not at the box office-and boxing is all about the money.

Trout should of been a fight Cotto should of won. Cotto was smothering and overpowering Trout on the inside Hbo was bullshitting about Trout getting the better of him there. There were even times Cotto would outbox Trout at his own game midfight. Cotto hurt him twice, but seemed content on just cruising to a decision. Never seen Cotto this slow and unaggressive either. Everytime he put the pressure on Trout he did what he wanted.

I think Cotto should really consider 147... There is no excuses for him even at this stage of his career to make 147. Cotto just has to much cojones, the guy wants to fight the best and challenge himself and that is truly admired. I wont even be surprise if the guy goes up to 160 and challenges Martinez:lol: Every figher should learn from Cotto and take notes when it comes to getting respect once he decides to hang the gloves. The guy truly has taken chances with no demands in an era where most of the guys have been link to some cheating(Plaster or DLH style handwraps) or PED except Cotto, lol:good

    Cotto can't make 147. He's too big.

The Mayweather fight clearly took it out of him. For that, he was at his best weight and the most confident he'd ever been. But yesterday, he was clearly not at the best weight and his confidence was gone. My guess is that Mayweather beat the prime, unshot version out of him.

Is Cotto shot i dont think so, shot to me means you dont got it anymore

Cotto got bested last night by a solid boxer who never let him get his attack going

Cotto can probably still perform vs top flight fighters

I think since Margo 1 and Pac he clearly isnt the same fighter, the same fire doesnt seem there he doesnt seem to have the mentality

even in fight camp 360 Cotto said he has an exit plan 1 foot out the door so to speak

physically he may be fine but mentally he may be done

Cotto gave May a hell of a battle but i think it was more on May who stood toe to toe and gave Cotto the chance to look good

plus fighters past their better days have tendencies to have one last hurrah

    Cotto can't make 154. He's too small.

"He's" has never been a contraction for "He was". Give your head a shake, man.

Ok slightly acceptable but it doesn't mean a fighter is not the same when he loses convincingly cause it sure is an 'Excuse' for me.
