Let's not distort things. Wlad does not look the type to take opponents lightly. He always comes into the ring 100% prepared, and there is nothing to suggest he did any differently against Sanders. He was prepared. I'm tired of people always trying to explain the loss away with this excuse, because upon scutiny it hold no water. None. There is no precedent whatsoever for Wlad ever coming into the ring unprepared.
Except that Wlad admitted it himself, he said he was bored with boxing. He did maybe 10 rounds of sparring for the fight. He was looking for the fight with Lewis that was likely slated to happened had he won.
Klitlickers should pin this ****ing post up their walls. How the **** can klittards possibly have excuses FOR ALL FIVE (!!!) LOSSES of their heroes? - Puritty stops Wlad (24-0, gold medal), klitlickers claim he was too green to beat a poor ass journeyman - Vitali pulls out with an injury others have went on fighting with (or with worse); klitlickers claim it's for his safety and that he actually didn't lose a fight in which he quit - Sanders embarasses Wlad, klitlickers claim he was unprepared (no proof), too green, too whatever. - Lewis rips Vitali's face apart, klitlickers claim Vitali got robbed and would have won if the fight had went on - Brewster busts up Wlad, klitlickers call foul and accuse Brewster's camp of poisoning Wlad (no evidence) Holy **** guys, give me a break. atsch These imbeciles are too dense too simply point out the truth that their man was beaten fair and square.
There's nothing I see in the wlad-sanders fight to suggest wlad would ever beat him. Sure he's a far greater fighter and a tougher h2h assignment for others but I just don't see him ever beating sanders.
Wlad has one game plan. When that game plan fails , he has nothing. He's very limited. Who has come out gunning for him since Sanders? Nobody. A guy like Mike Prez would turn his lights out.
Sanders didn't come out gunning, wlad did. Sanders countered him with a southpaw left and he never gave wlad chance to recover.
You're right in a way, but he gunned him down with pressure and nobody has been willing to do that since.
Correction: No one has been ABLE to do that since. Ever watched Wlad's footwork? Coupled with the fact that his jab is practically a right hand?
