Why everyone acting like Cotto didn't run away from 147 because he was scared to fight Margo?

What are you talking about? The Cotto-Margarito rematch was originally schedule for June 2009, but didn't take place because Margarito ended up getting suspended that same year. Cotto instead went on to face Clottey and Pacquiao. Him leaving 147 didn't have a thing to do with Margarito.

Cotto stole a fight from Clottey, everyone knows Clottey won that **** and beat the hell out of him.

    Manny destroyed him as well.

Cotto knew he couldn't beat anyone at 147, too many real 147 fighters instead of blown up 140 fighters he would have to low blow to get a win (Judah) so he ran away, to kill any talk of a Margo rematch.

Dude was scared to fight Margo in a rematch, until he found out Margo had a bad eye.

He didn't steal ****. Clottey squandered a lead when he decided not to throw punches in the final rounds. Perhaps had he stayed upright the whole night and not go down from a jab and actually let his hands go in the championship rounds, the result could have been different.

Manny's destroyed a lot of fighters.

Now you saying some wild ****. The type of **** that makes me think you're trolling and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Cotto stole the fight against Clottey, Arum knew he had an easy win because Cotto was done, so he paid the judges to steal the fight from Clottey, who really manhandled Cotto.

Only fighters Manny beat as bad as Cotto was David Diaz and shot and drained Oscar. LOL.

Nothing wild about what I"m saying. Cotto didn't get too big for 147, he ran to 154 to easier waters, and fought one legged rabbis and a shot mayorga.

Eh....I actually felt Cotto edged Josh. But If Josh won, I wouldn't have been upset. That's how close it was. I think Josh ****ed up....the momentum was on his side and Josh had most of the advantages but Clottley didn't act like a fighter or a champion. He was bitching and complaining the whole night and Cotto kept working. More than Cotto winning, I think Josh gave it away.

PAC battered A LOT of other fighters like he did Cotto....look at what he did to EM, two times....Marco got his ass handed to him. 3K got punished....so did Margarito. You remember the Solis fight? That was ugly. PAC beats people up....as long as they don't run away like Shane and Tim...or they are not named JMM...he usually dominates in violent fashion.

Floyd and Pac are the best welters right now..If Floyd is still fighting that is. Cotto faced both. I do think he wasn't planning on fighting Marg, but don't think he ran from him. I think he felt Marg was a cheat and held a grudge so he wasn't willing to give him another pay day. He did eventually at Jr MW but it was only after Cotto felt everything was on his terms.

    No...

    8-4 Trout
    9-3 Mayweather

No, Trout did not beat him more convincing. I respect a 6-6 draw in the Trout fight, but no way in hell do I respect a 6-6 draw in the Mayweather fight, or even 7-5 for Floyd.

Cotto saw more success in his fight with Floyd. With Trout it was pretty much the same thing all night...Trout controlling the range, controlling pace and Cotto saw little success. He wasn't getting completely dominated but he wasn't doing enough to win. Miguel did knock out a few corners when he faced Floyd...he didn't win but he did see more success than anything he was able to do in the fight with Austin.

Had it 8-4 Trout as well. I had Mayweather-Cotto 10-2 but I seen an 8-4 verdict. Cotto felt more competitive against Mayweather because of the ropes but he really landed more consistently on Trout. The difference is Trout probably threw and landed more punches himself. I think Mayweather was a little more in control against Cotto, personally.

EM beat Manny, he was done the time of the 2nd fight.
MAB fought Manny better than Cotto did.
Margo got his face broke and still put on a better showing that kneeguel.

When I talked about the Cotto beating I was refering to the victims on his ascent up the weightclasses. I forgot to add Hatton.

Negative Floyd and Tim Bradley are the best welters right now.
Cotto fought Manny at 145 catchweight and he fought Floyd at 154, not 147.

I believe Margo was a cheater too, but all of that does nothing to combat the fact that Cotto took some beatings from real 147 fighters and ran out the division to safe waters at 154. He can still go back to 147 if he wants, I mean dude easily made 154 and was fat as hell going into this fight.

You mean the EM who just recently retired? The guy who won his 4th world title in 4 different division AFTER he was "done by the time PAC beat him twice"?

You realize EM became the the first Mexican fighter to win 4 titles in 4 divisions after he lost to PAC, yet some how this "DONE" fighter was still competing at the sports highest levels? You'll have to entertain me.....what's your thought process on that?:think

MAB did NOT fight PAC better than Cotto. PAC got MAB out of there earlier and Cotto faced a better version of Manny than the one MAB go blindsided by.

Tony got battered and carried to the final bell.....sure...he hurt Manny more than Marg but Tony didn't win a single round where Cotto won a couple.

Tim is up there but he's not ahead of the guy he was given the victory over. I think that's pretty clear. Floyd and PAC are the best at 147. Cotto can still make 147 and he'd be a force....not better than the two top dogs but at 147.....no one can beat those two.

U guys talkin about headbutt clottey? He couldnt beat a one eyed cotto. Yall know that headbutt was thrown with bad intentions. Then he takes a dive vs Pacquiao and dissappears for years. Lol who the **** cares about that chump. Margacheato got what he deserved and Floyd managed to avoid every single welter weight threat aside from Mosley who was coming off a year layoff. The only fighters to take on everyone at their best was Mosley and Cotto but only one of them admitted to using peds :yep

EM was on PEDs and beat no one of not in his supposed "comeback". Yes that EM who was done after the first Manny fight when Zahir Raheem put that clinic on his ass.

MAB fought Manny better than Cotto bro. After the 6th round kneeguel was on that back doing that lame ass shoulder roll and eating punches. MAB fought till the end in both of his fights.

Cotto won one round, Marg had Manny freeze up and admit that he thought he was gonna fall to the mat. That alone is something kneeguel never accomplished.

Tim wasn't given nothing, he put that clinic on Manny, despite the crooks at HBO working against him, the refs saw the truth. Manny isn't better than the man who beat him with two broken feet. Cotto can make 147, only fight he has is Berto.

MAB never won a round against Pac (except for the wrong call of KD which he was beaten up by after). Cotto won few rounds

You're of the very minority who sees the Pac-Tim fight different.

And yes EM was shot to sh*t when fought Pac the 2nd or 3rd time around because he looked crap in there, right?
