    No, but that's besides the point. Even in losing earlier fights and possibly losing to guys like Tszyu had he fought them at 140, it still doesn't change that he looked physically better from a purely athletic standpoint back then. Cotto was never good enough to really dominate a division, but the two things we're on about don't go hand in hand.

    He's no longer in his physical prime anymore, and it's very obvious if you compare recent and past fights for his. All I'm saying.

    If I was on Cotto's corner I would make a fight in PR with Ortiz, Berto or Maidana. Get a KO on one of them in HBO and just go back home to Caguas with the kids and enjoy the rest of my life... That's it man... Something tells me that they are going to ask for a rematch though...

    Yup. Gutted. I thought I'd scrape whatever I could from Cotto winning, and then put it all on JMM the following weekend to be guaranteed some decent returns.

    He doesn't wanna' go back down there. At this stage of his career he's fighting only for money. And if he knows he can continue making the same money by staying at 154 (where he'll have comfortable training camps), then he won't see the need in dropping down to 147. Why go down to fight the beatable guys, when those beatable guys will come up.

    Natural 154lbers may also be too much for Mayweather. Mayweather had a hard time trying to deal with Cotto's extra size.

    Definitely Cotto should stick to welterweights who have moved up because lets face it, a guy that beats a 2007 Mosley and can have an extremely competitive fight with Mayweather is definitely better than an Austin Trout.

    Cotto doesn't belong at 154. Guys who are too tall for him outbox him, and guys who are too big for him he cant bully on the inside, which is pretty much what happened at 154.

    Cotto still beats any of the 140-147 guys outside of Pac/May/JMM. Id even favour him over Bradley.

    Funny how Cotto loses after leaving Arum, and had he still been with Arum pretty sure Arum would rebuild his career again through clever matchmaking. Pretty much what he did post Pac fight.

    What's even more funny, is that people criticise Arum's clever match-making, yet it's the very same match-making that allowed Cotto to rack up a confidence-building run of victories that made those same people (that were shitting on Arum) to then say "Cotto is back to his best" and claim him to be this number one junior middleweight of the world.

    If Cotto can't be bothered to fight at 147, his true weight then he should just hang them up as he will continue to take beatings at light-mid

    He's a shot fighter either way now
