Louis is great because of the fighters he beat during that reign. If he only fought unranked fighters he would today be reviled as a propped champion. It was the Bum of the Month club that made Louis unquestionably great.

no he didn't struggle with Mike Tyson you ****ing dummy. He won every round bar the first which was arguable. Mike was ranked #2 in the world at the time and i bet i'd pick him over more than half of Joe Louis's opponents on the night he met Lewis.
