Hes actually ENTERTAINING! I havnt said that about a H/W for a looooong time. Feed him to Wlad? Wlads been getting heavier handed as time goes on as well! It would be more exciting than Haye vs Wlad! Wlad wont be able to hide behind his jab so much! How much longer will we have to wait before they step him up with the big boys? Has he ever been wobbled? I always suspect those with small heads to have weak chins and he kinda has a tiny head. But man he finishes well, IF he staggered Wlad, he MIGHT be able to finish him right away!
Price got dropped a few times as an Amateur but has basically never looked hurt in the pro game, he is a completely different fighter now to what he was 5 years ago. He is a lot more solid, he needs a few step up fights. Tony Thompson is next and that should give us an indication of whether or not he is the real deal.
He'll trash Thompson, no doubt in my mind about that. But he's not yet had 20 fights, and we still have to see how he handles adversity. Calls for him to fight Wlad are very premature at this stage.
He hasn't been HIT as a pro. Once or twice but nothing major This is all reminding me of Amir Khan, how going up to 140 and shizz had "improved his chin" This content is protected
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HKf3MxE_58"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HKf3MxE_58[/ame] 9.55 - How did Price take that cheap shot in his debut if he has no chin? Amir had been dropped at British level so that is an awful comparison. The amateur and pro game is completely different.
Price has been down before, he's going down again, it's just a question of when, and if he gets in with wlad then it'll be then.
More than a couple of times,by all accounts it was close to 15 + It's not Price and his suspected chin I worry about anyway,it's his stamina.....
there was a thread the other day about who had dropped or stopped price I remember fury, Helenius, Pulev, Stiverne, Cammarale, and there were a couple more it was basically every decent fighter he's fought
The punch in the video would knock a lot of heavyweights down especially if they didn't see it coming because the referee has indicated a break. Price has been down but got up and won fights in the amateurs and he will do it again in the pros. Flash knockdowns and getting up and winning isn't a problem. Wlad has been knocked down a fair few times its not exactly a major issue for him.
It's alright, i'm sure you will be on hand to belt out a poignant rendition of "you'll never walk alone" when Price is being scraped off the canvas
Cammarelle one - flash knockdown he got up straight away Fury - again flash knockdown, he got up and completely schooled him Stiverne - standing count, referee should not have stopped it Helenius - if this is the fight I am thinking of he got up and lost 25-22 on points, that price was in 2005, 7 years ago. Not seen the Pulev one so can't comment on that one, also there was an Indian which I have not seen. As I said getting knocked down and getting back up does not mean you have a bad chin, this shows he has good recovery skills.
Watched his most recent fight and his style is very amateurish the way he backs up with his gloves up...... And his Chin is awful which is going to spell disaster. They have him fighting 40 year olds for a reason the guy is going to get his Glass Jaw shattered all over the place sooner than later. All he has is height.
