    Heard it all now.

What about his punching power? His right hand is lethal.

Price is on par with our American Heavyweights. Basically he is ****. Wilder has Savage power in his right hand also. Doesn't make him an elite fighter or anything. All these guys (Price, Fury, Mitchell, Wilder, etc) are such garbage.

I realize the Brits don't have any good fighters but them getting excited and hyping Price is no different than if I was doing the same for Wilder which would be a joke. Hopefully Price is smart enough to take his title shot before his Chin gets Shattered like what happened to Seth Mitchell.

Price and Fury are hardly garbage, they will both be top 10 contenders in the world even if they have suspect chins. Fury probably is top 10 in the world already, Price would KO Mitchell or Wilder within 4 rounds.

He'd take Mitchell out in the first IMO,no ****ing way does he hold up to the right hand of Price.Wilder is all flash no substance,he also gets knocked the **** out.
Fury takes the pair of em out also ..... and Price!

I was trying to be friendly towards the Americans but you're probably right.

Price vs Fury would be a good fight, I think it depends on whether Price lets Fury dictate the pace with his jab. Price also has the power to knock fury out at any point during the 12 rounds.

In the Commonwealth Games Semi Final he was put properly on the canvas THREE times in the same fight by Varghese Johnson.

It wouldn't surprise if there weren't more we don't know of - as this list came from Price's mout and he *FORGOT* to mention the Fury knockdown strangely. So Fury put it up on line himself a week later!

There was some other guy called Ongolle or something who put him on the floor too that Price mentioned.

It is very unusual for a top amateur to be knocked down so many times. But fair play for getting up to the top level despite it - although he was older than most of his foes, much like Audley and Camarelle were. That really helps. You're a man against a boy he was 23 when he faced 17 year old Fury.

Price's chin won't improve without headgear on and 10oz gloves connecting with it rather than 16oz pillows.

Sure he has put on muscle mass. But the first top or fringe level operator [ie. non can] who connects will put him out cold I'd imagine. Hence why he is about to face his 3rd successive 40+ fighter.

He beat Johnson in that fight too so the knockdowns are again irrelevant.

Its about ability not age, he beat Harrison and Sprott so easily. He could have fought them both on the same night. Thompson might be a bit more of a challenge regardless of age.

EDIT: just checked and he actually stopped Johnson, knocking him down 3 times before the ref stopped it. Must have been a good fight with 6 knockdowns.

that shot wasnt a gd one even tho it was an undefended blow and it shook him (clearly his legs went abit)..

your right it is a different game getting put on your ass alot in the ams with headgear on with straight scoring punches is kind of silly..

nothing wrong with getting put on your bum now and again everyone gets sloppy.but price was stopped quite abit in the am ranks..

anyway furys chin isnt much better so i wouldnt worry

I'd say it's alot better considering he's only been put on his arse once, throughout his entire career AM and PRO and on unsteady legs just once.

Fury hardly fought anyone at Amateur level though, he also hasn't been tested yet as a pro.

ive seen enough of fury to know if he dosnt tighten his defence up he will have trouble with knock downs against top heavyweights...

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

And Price has been tested? :rofl

Price is complete garbage. He is crap. Not sure why you Brits keep doing this to yourself hyping up your China Chinned fighters.

Like I said hopefully Price takes his title shot before he gets brutally and embarrassingly KOed beforehand.

Price - tested as an amateur, got knocked down a few times but mostly got up. As a pro - a few minor tests but no knockdowns.

Fury - hardly tested as an amateur - no knockdowns, minor tests as a pro - been knocked down.

    Swings and round abouts.

Price has had no trouble with his opposition, he would beat everyone Fury has fought so far as a pro.
