[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iESW7PWErnU[/ame] he maybe labours the point that rhodes never quite made the step up to world level just a touch too much. that said hes just saying the truth. got to love his attitude though. hes frothing at the thought of gettinbg back in the ring with the only two guys that have beat him. also you get a hint of the dedication and disciple that he must follow behind closed doors. imagine if fighters like degale, gavin and saunders were like him.....
When I first loaded this thread up I thought the guy interviewing had some Nazi Military uniform on, the **** you get a shirt like that
Froch tells it like it is. 90% of the time you'll agree but every now and again there will be something wrong. He's a human and jealousy, arrogance, nervousness etc will creep in to his words.
Has there ever been a more dedicated and professional British world champion? My god he lives the life, a real credit to the sport.
The man proves time and time again what a legend he is. Also respect to Rhodes, I was at his last fight earlier this year... its a shame to see him go out on a loss but the time is right.
I don't think James Degale is as good as Froch. But James Degale strikes me as somebody who is dedicated. Gavin..? No. Saunders..? I don't know. I don't know what you are talking about.
I can't help but think that part of the success our amateur boxers are having is down to Froch training with them. What a great source of inspiration. If I was training alongside him I would copy his example right down to the time he goes for a dump.
dont bother, this is obviously beyond you. find another thread. hes just about the best example of a professional you could ever have. im 34 now and struggling to maintain the necessary level of fitness that i need to do the sports i do at the level i want to. people like froch are really inspiring and really help me to get up in the morning and train or stretch when its cold.
James Degale does not have to rematch George Groves as yet. Note: I have not watched the video as yet.
I watched him in his first ever fight and said to myself ''he will be a world champion'' and he did it. I knew this guy had what it takes but he's surpassed the expectations i had for him. He's a great guy for British Boxing.
I can always remember when Carl Froch was fighting on ITV, and ringside! Whoever was interviewing him, just started talking about football and i think..? David Beckham. Carl Froch was abit offended, and kind of started speaking about how hard he trains! and that he is proud to be a boxer. And i think he kind of had ago at football players in general over injuries, and work ethic.
I remember that PK :good. Froch beat Pascal and when he started that bout on that wonderful night he already had a cracked rib and a perforated eardrum and fact Robert McCracken's mum passed away on the day or day before there was so much going on yet the man traded artillery with a good fighter on a massive night. Froch is everything that is right with Boxing. Ducks no one and works hard all the time. A proper profressional!.
I agree, he is a great guy. Went through a stage when, he was pissing me off, just in afew interviews etc.. But he is a bad man, and i think he can beat Andre Ward in the rematch. I picked him to beat Andre Ward first time around....
