    "alex is a punchers chance against anyone"? If anyone has two fists, they have a punchers chance.

    the hardest hitting HW's don't need 6 or 7 fullswings at grade D fighters to drop them.

    I lik his style but could he reach round Furys jab?

    Take this as a cultural lesson mate, we as poms may just be Brits to you Aussie's, cricket in Australia is not a gentleman's sport, its not for the upper class of the country (not that, that exists but hey), its a sport for every class, every type of man no matter where they originate right? (hell Ricky Ponting is from Tazmania! :D), here in England esteemed gentlemen who have a brain watch and play cricket (mostly) believe me when i say most if not all people who attend Lords or the Oval to watch "test match cricket" WILL NOT HAVE A ****ING CLUE WHO TYSON FURY IS :deal :lol:

    Further to that Tyson Fury is a Gypsy, and he's a head case, "England" will not be claiming Tyson Fury as our man! and it certainly wont matter a **** if an Aussie beats him in Ashes year

    ok. i didnt know that about the poms and cricket. i did know fury is a Gypsy.

    so perhaps the ashes link isnt as strong as i figured, but id like to see alex fight tyson. it would be a hell of a fight. you blokes havent seen the best of alex, hell, alex hasnt seen his best! but tall heavies. he eats em. have a look at his ko of the usually durable orlov...

    actually alex is an exciting fighter. hes an all out crowd pleaser. he'd keep it interesting with fury while it lasts. he has world class power, and throws bombs in combinations. he's 'only' a short 6 foot, however, he is uncannily skilled in getting in close against taller guys without getting hit. he also has the ability to unload in close without getting tied up.

    he needs work on his fitness, which he has underway, and he has just come off a hand operation. his next fight will be a warm up no doubt after the hand operation. but im sure team leapai would love a shot at fury.

    perhaps fury is so confident he could look at alex as a way of keeping active?

    I think Flintoff would be a better fight for Leapai, thats a 50/50 fight IMO...
