I remember Dodson getting beaten by Winky Wright in Docklands as a kid. And his famous do-rag.

 

James Hare is on central area council ,and last time I spoke to him does a bit of personal training and lives in Huddersfield

He was a very talented fighter TBH, Beat some solid names.

 

I heard the same from a guy who worked with him for a while. It was only this year though so it sounds like he is still the same.

Just did a bit of boxrec surfing looking at Adrian Dodson. Came across a bit of a legend I've never heard of: Mpush Makambi. Looks like he came over and owned every British middleweight!

Yeah i remember the name. Can't remember the fights though but probably watched them as he fought Bingam and Foster and Dodson all TV fighters over here.

He seems to be challenging Ajif Djelti for the Domestic Destroyer title.

 

Didn't he get banned for biting or kneeing someone in the nuts??
