Agreed the card initially was very good it's just fallen apart over the past few weeks but it's still a tidy card really. £40 isn't bad to see Barker, Ochieng, Ryder and Yafai plus the Macho Man Wadi Camacho vs Toks Owoh :happy .
It is ****. You get no points for proposed fights. VVarren certainly doesn't. Maloney doesn't. There are no titles above English level, Barker's fight is a safe comeback fight, it'll be hard to get a decent fight for Jones now. Unlucky but still a **** card now.
TBH he can't vouch for people falling ill, Murray falling a medical maybe as maybe they could of sorted that before announcing but i think to say is harsh Lilo. It's hardly like the card at York Hall the other week with that fella coming out to Barbie Girl and Gavin vs Witter as main event. That was most certainly ****. Could half accept a bit ****.. I'm still looking forward to it, A decent replacement for Purdy and we got 5 decent fights.
Defo! Ryder and O'Kane both know a win and a win in style on Live TV really does boost them going into new year. I hope Ryder does it, seems a good fella!.
Optimist Hey, don't get me wrong I'm so starved of live boxing here that I probably would buy a ticket
Going to be tough for Ryder I think. O'Kane is a lot more seasoned, more physically developed. O'Kane may take over late.
They got a Hatton show soon in your neck of woods right?. Be honest T, I haven't seen much of O'Kane bar PF. I always worry for John at MW. Looks like a big boned guy but lacking in height for MW and would do better at LMW if he could safely get down. Heard his recent displays haven't set the world on fire.
:good. Strange one that Ice that was already on there the other day as well, I get impression he saw Purdy has a mere domestic guy who he was going to beat up and go back to U.S and hope for Brook rematch. Eddie has said he's in UK as we speak and there working on bringing a opponent.
Yeah i think Eddie's gutted, Jones is the type of fighter many won't fancy fighting. He's neither here nor there and sadly get impression many will leave Eddie as a missed call. I'd be pleasantly shocked if someone decent stepped in for it but hopefully it happens.
He was **** in that Prizefighter to be honest regardless of winning. Not the type of displays you'd expect from a guy with his background. I get the feeling he won't be fighting like that much of a spastic over 10 though. He's still gonna pressure John, and he's naturally pretty well built at 160 so I do see it being a tough night. From what I hear about Ryder in the gym he likes a fight so I only see it going one way. I'm not sure about Ryder being the favorite for this one as the bookies have it.
